Out There was a project for Typography II course at OCADU. The purpose was to create a hand bind book with studies on typographic history, families, and macro/micro design elements. The outer space concept was applied to sections to explore the following: History in space science and physics to describe families and styles of typeface; our solar system and its planets to describe space adjustments; and innovative quotes from scientists and stellar cycle to show different paragraph alignment and width variations. The binding method is smythe binding without the cover.
